The UCAN Enfield Programme

Ucan stands for Unified Community Assistance Network — a partnership of local organisations working together to support people in Enfield with their health and wellbeing. 

We’re funded by the London Borough of Enfield, offering early help and practical support to help you live independently, stay active and feel more connected. 

We work with Enfield residents aged 18+ with long term health conditions, sensory loss, neurodiversity, older people, and those experiencing mental health concerns or loneliness.  

Nutrition workshops 

Our free UCAN interactive nutrition workshops delver no nonsense nutrition advice to participants across the borough of Enfield. Led by our registered nutritionist, each themed workshop is tailored to offer hand on support helping participants make realistic changes that improve their health and wellbeing. These workshops empower people with the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to eat better and build healthier lifestyles.

Cooking classes 

We run inclusive cooking classes across the borough of Enfield, helping residents learn how to prepare healthy, low-cost meals they can easily recreate at home. Participants learn how to make the most of seasonal ingredients, boost fibre intake, and cut back on processed foodswhilst meeting new people in a non-judgemental, enjoyable and friendly environment.
